GOOD NIGHT STORIES FOR REBEL GIRLS

A review by Paula García Morcillo.

Good night stories for rebel girls is a collection of three books about the lives of women that have changed the world. In each book there are one hundred stories about women and their amazing achievements. These books are aimed at children and young people , because girls should grow up knowing that they can do anything they want. The authors of this book are Elena Fvilli and Francesca Cavallo.
The book has a lot of different stories, for example some of the most popular women in this book are, Frida khalo, Cleopatra, Coco Chanel, Michelle Obama, Serena Williams, and many more. Each story is developed in two different pages, in the first one there is a description about the life of the woman, and in the second one, there is an illustration of the woman that we are talking about. Also, in each photo there is a phrase that the woman said. These illustrations have been done by more than sixty artists all over the world. Each story shows the complicated lives some women have had. Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo wrote these books to inspire girls and women to do what they want, because everything is possible when you believe in yourself.
In my opinion, this book deserves so much more support, because it shows you extraordinary stories that have never been told. I recommend this book because I think girls should know that bad moments will come in their lives, but everything will be fine if they remember these women and all the effort they did to achieve their goals.
